How RERA-Approved Projects Protect Homebuyers

Buying a home is one of the biggest financial decisions in a person’s life. In earlier times, many buyers faced problems such as project delays, hidden charges, poor construction quality and false promises from developers. To improve transparency and build trust in the real estate sector, the Government of India introduced the Real Estate Regulatory Authority ( RERA ) Act in 2016. Today, RERA-approved projects offer greater safety and confidence to homebuyers. Transparency in Real Estate Projects One of the biggest benefits of RERA-approved projects is transparency. Developers are required to share important project details such as land approvals, layout plans, possession dates and legal clearances on the official RERA portal.
